Holiday season is in full swing with Christmas and New Year’s quickly approaching, people will be out on the road traveling for festive activities or family gatherings. Gas stations are essential when your tank starts to get low or you need to grab a few snacks for the road trip.
According to the U.S. Energy Information Administration, the average price for gasoline in New York State is $3.12 as of Dec. 15 for all grades. Depending on what you fill your car up with, 87 regular is averaging $2.99 a gallon, 89 plus is $3.46 a gallon and 93 premium is $3.87 a gallon.
Here are a few of the gas stations in the Binghamton area that will be open for Christmas and New Year’s in 2025.
Kwik Fill
There are several Kwik Fill gas stations throughout the Southern Tier, and the majority of the Kwik locations will be open on the holidays. Hours of operation vary, so call to find out the exact hours of a Kwik Fill gas station nearest to you.
All of the 24-hour locations will remain open during regular listed hours.

267 Main St. in Binghamton: Christmas Eve 6 a.m. to 8 p.m., Christmas Day 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., New Year’s Eve 6 a.m. to 10 p.m., New Year’s Day 8 a.m. to 10 p.m.
Sunoco
Operation hours vary across all locations, call your local Sunoco gas station to check holiday hours or visit sunoco.com/find-a-station.
520 Chenango St. in Binghamton: Christmas Eve 6 a.m. to 8 p.m., Christmas Day 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
3225 East Main St. in Endicott: Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day 5:30 a.m. to 12 a.m., weekend hours will be 7 a.m. to 12 a.m.
Speedway
There are roughly nine Speedway locations stretching from Binghamton to Endicott, which are all 24-hour locations open seven days a week. Two Speedway locations in the area have set hours different from the 24-hour standard.
503 East Main St. in Endicott: Regular hours of operation, 6 a.m. to 12 a.m.
781 NY-7 in Port Cane: Weekdays 5:30 a.m. to 11 p.m. and weekends 6 a.m. to 11 p.m.
Mirabito
Every location has different holiday hours, visit mirabito.com/convenience-stores/locations to see the gas station closest to you. Most Mirabito gas stations will be closed by 8 p.m. Call your local Mirabito to check holiday hours of operation.
217 Court St. in Binghamton: Christmas Eve 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Christmas Day 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.
33 South Washington St. in Binghamton: Christmas Eve 5 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Christmas Day 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Conoco
266 Chenango St. in Binghamton: Regular hours of operation, 6 a.m. to 12 a.m.
Valero
98 Broad Ave. in Binghamton: Regular hours of operation, 6 a.m. to 10 p.m., seven days a week.
Byrne Dairy
All Byrne Dairy and Deli locations operate 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
