Suffern's Ben Courtney headlines 2026 Rockland boys swimming all-stars

The 2025-2026 Rockland boys swimming and diving team has been chosen. It was chosen based off of results for the entire season.

The Rockland boys swimmer of the year is Suffern’s Ben Courtney, who set records and competed in the New York State championships.

Rockland Boys Swimmer of the Year

School: Suffern

Year: Senior

Highlights: At the Rockland County Championships, Courtney took first place in the 200-yard individual medley and also won the 100 butterfly. He was named the Most Outstanding Performer of the Rockland County Championships. At the Section 1, League 1 Championships, Courtney won the 100 butterfly and the 100 breaststroke titles. At the Section 1 championships in February, he won both the fly and the breaststroke titles. On March 7, he finished 11th at the New York State Championships in the 100 butterfly. He placed in the top 40 in the 100 breaststroke. He also qualified for the state championships in the 200 IM but didn’t compete in the event. Courtney is the Suffern record holder in the 100 fly and breaststroke. He garnered All-League and All-Section honors this year.
