Their efforts helped the Hawks secure a second consecutive Section 4 Class A team title among numerous dual-meet wins.

Sierzant and Crisco put a strong final touch on the season by helping Corning’s 200-yard freestyle relay to ninth place overall and eighth among public schools at the New York State Public High School Athletic Association championships at Ithaca College.

Those two were also part of the Hawks’ 14th-place 200 medley relay at the state meet.

They shined from start to finish during the season.

Crisco, a sophomore, won the 200-yard individual medley and 100 breaststroke at the sectional meet, where he was part of Corning triumphs in the 200 freestyle relay and 400 freestyle relay.

He placed 17th in both the 200 individual medley (1:59.6) and 100 breaststroke (58.73) at the state meet.

Along with his relay efforts, Sierzant’s senior season included 26th place in the 50 freestyle (21.93) and 34th in the 100 freestyle (48.53) at the state championships.

He was a two-time individual champion at the Section 4 Class A meet, taking the 50 freestyle (21.89) and 100 freestyle (48.62). Sierzant helped the Hawks win the sectional championship in the 200 freestyle relay.
