Section V boys basketball playoff scores 2026

Section V high school basketball tournaments, the greater Rochester region’s version of “March Madness” in February, are underway.

L: The Oatkan Knights come from behind in the fourth quarter and deliver the team’s second championship ever, the first since 2003.

LeRoy did have two scorers who reached double digits. Matthew Hockey scored 12 points, including a pair of 3-pointers. Jagger Smith finished with 10 and Grady Gilligan had eight.

Braeden Cimineri scored a game-high 20 points, with two 3-pointers for the Mynderse Blue Devils. Elijah Doell added 15 points, all coming on 3-pointers, but it wasn’t enough to hold off the LeRoy Oatkan Knights.
