A portion of Lakeshore Boulevard in Irondequoit will be closed this week for sewer and drainage improvements.
The closure will affect the stretch of Lakeshore Boulevard from Kings Highway to Culver Road, and continue through 5 p.m. Friday. According to the Town of Irondequoit, crews are working to upgrade the storm sewer and drainage system in the area.
Drivers are advised to follow a detour via Kings Highway, Titus Avenue, and Culver Road during the closure. Access to The Highlands neighborhood will remain open throughout the work.
