The second-to-last episode of Ryan Murphy’s new hit anthology series, Love Story: John F. Kennedy Jr. & Carolyn Bessette, depicting New York’s famous modern romance, returns to our screens Thursday.
The nine-episode limited series, which is airing on FX and streaming on Hulu, is inspired by Elizabeth Beller’s book Once Upon a Time: The Captivating Life of Carolyn Bessette-Kennedy. It stars Paul Anthony Kelly as Kennedy Jr., son of President John F. Kennedy and Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis, and Sarah Pidgeon as Bessette.
Episode eight, titled “Exit Strategy,” airs on March 19 at 9 p.m. and will stream on Hulu the next day. Hulu’s synopsis for the episode reads, “Tensions boil over after John and Carolyn discover devastating news.”

New York plays a major role both in the real-life romance and in the show’s filming locations. Bessette was born in White Plains in 1966. Kennedy Jr. moved to New York City with his mother and sister after his father’s 1963 assassination and later graduated from NYU School of Law in 1989.

When do new episodes come out?
New episodes air Thursdays at 9 p.m. ET/PT on FX and stream at 12 a.m. ET (9 p.m. PT) on Hulu. The series premiered Feb. 12 with three episodes.
How many episodes are left?
Following the premiere of episode eight on Thursday, there will only be one episode left in the limited series. The finale is scheduled for March 26.
