Latest restaurant inspections: What Poughkeepsie area restaurants were cited for in June

Dutchess County restaurant inspection records show six food establishments received five or more violations in June, according to the most recent data released by New York state.

An Indian restaurant in Poughkeepsie had seven critical violations and six non-critical violations in June, including not keeping food at a safe temperature and not properly storing or using toxic chemicals to prevent contamination.

Other restaurants were cited for using food from unapproved sources, not properly refrigerating food and not using accurate thermometers.
