Fourth of July parade and fireworks set for Canandaigua: What to know

CANANDAIGUA, NY — The town and city of Canandaigua are once again teaming up to celebrate Independence Day in style. 

Fireworks are scheduled to light up the night sky at 9:45 p.m. July 5 at Kershaw Park, 155 Lakeshore Drive.

How does the Canandaigua partnership work?

The city of Canandaigua will provide public safety support, including traffic control and emergency services. This partnership ensures a safe and enjoyable experience for both residents and visitors, town officials said. 

The fireworks display is made possible through the support of the city and town of Canandaigua and the Lakeshore Hospitality District, with contributions from Nolan’s on Canandaigua Lake, COHO Pizza & Wine Bar/ Seager Marine, Scoops/Canandaigua Lady, DSL Events (New York Kitchen), Hotel Canandaigua, Tapestry by Hilton, The Lake House on Canandaigua Lake, Fire on the Lake (owners of Kix on Main) and Canandaigua Country Club.

Is there a Fourth of July parade in Canandaigua?

Parade Day in the city of Canandaigua is July 4.

Marchers begin to line up at 9 a.m. at the Ontario County parking lot on Ontario Street. Marchers will begin to head down Ontario Street to South Main Street and onto Lakeshore Drive at 10 a.m.
