The athletes’ credentials are listed above the fan poll, which will be open until 3 p.m. Wednesday, May 13. The winner will be announced on lohud sports social media on Wednesday.

Let’s meet the candidates.
Amelia Amenedo, Byram Hills
The freshman had six receiving touchdowns in three games over the last week, including a 72-yard touchdown reception. Amenedo had 542 yards of total offense. On defense, she had 11 flag pulls, one sack and one interception.
Julissa Moore, Woodlands
In four games over the last week, the freshman had six receiving touchdowns and an interception return for a touchdown.
Riley New, Fox Lane
In four games over the last week, the senior had 392 passing yards and nine touchdown passes, as well as 226 rushing yards and one rushing touchdown.
Mya Ustares, Dobbs Ferry
In six games over the last week, the senior had 495 passing yards with six touchdowns, 375 rushing yards with two touchdowns, 26 flag pulls and four interceptions.
Nina Vasquez, Tappan Zee
Over two games last week, the senior had eight receptions for 132 yards and two touchdowns. On defense, she had 12 flag pulls and an interception.
