City of Newburgh police investigating Tuesday night shooting on City Terrace

CITY OF NEWBURGH – City police are investigating a shooting the evening of July 1 on City Terrace.

The shooting happened shortly after 6:30 p.m., in an apartment on City Terrace just off Broadway.

The victim, who was shot several times, has not been further identified by police. The victim was taken to nearby Montefiore St. Luke’s Cornwall Hospital for treatment.

Police also have not said what the motive was for the shooting, nor whether any suspects have been identified or taken into custody.
