The apple-flavored beer became a cult favorite after its debut in 2020, often flying off the shelves during seasonal limited releases every year. The last time “Bapple” appeared in stores in May 2025, it sold 1.2 million cases.
This year is expected to be no different, according to Anheuser-Busch, which means “Bapple” fans should be prepared to check several stores once it drops. However, one nationwide restaurant is teaming up with Busch to help bring fans a sip of the coveted drink for a promotional deal.

Busch Light Apple, nicknamed “Bapple” by fans, is described as a “sweeter, fruit-forward” alternative to hard cider that still keeps a light beer finish.
It also has significantly fewer calories than most hard ciders, tasting more like a beer than a cider — which appeals to beer drinkers wanting apple flavor without stepping into cider territory.
When is Busch Light Apple coming back?
Busch Light Apple is expected to arrive in stores in late April 2026. Anheuser-Busch has not given a single, nationwide sale date, meaning some retailers may get the beer earlier than others. Availability is limited, and while supplies last. You’ll be able to purchase “Bapple” in various options like six-packs and 12-packs.
However, Applebee’s announced Monday, April 20 that it’s temporarily changing its name to “BApplebee’s” nationwide and plans to offer 16 oz. cans to pair with appetizers or entrees for just $4 in restaurants in New York and across the country while supplies last.
