Here is everything you need to know about the new ‘Summer House’ spin-off show in New York City, including the cast and how to watch.

What is ‘In the City’?

According to Bravo, ‘In The City,’ a ‘Summer House’ spin-off, “follows New Yorkers as they navigate the biggest transitions of their lives at the time: marriage, separation, parenthood, reinvention, and the reality of growing up without growing apart.”

Hubbard, a former publicist and one of the three inaugural cast members on ‘Summer House,’ told USA Today that the spin-off show will highlight more of her daily life as a new mom.

“You see me navigating all of the new dynamics as a mom, my dating life, what that looks like as a single mom, and trying to figure that out and what I want and what that looks like and how to even do it.”

Her daughter, Gemma, will be on the show too, she added.

How will ‘Summer House’ scandal transition into ‘In The City’

This season’s ‘Summer House’ scandal, involving Batula, Cooke, West Wilson and Ciara Miller, has been confirmed to be touched on in the premiere of ‘In The City.’

In January, Batula and Cooke confirmed their separation. Months later, in March, Batula and Wilson confirmed the months-long rumors of their romantic relationship that were circulating online on their Instagram stories. The issue many fans of the show and fellow castmates have with this new relationship is friendship betrayal, considering that Batula is now dating Miller’s ex. Season 10 of ‘Summer House,’ which is currently airing every Tuesday, has captured the Batula and Cooke’s final turbulent season together as a couple. It has also shown Miller’s support for her friend Batula as she navigates her rocky relationship, and Wilson’s pursuit of rekindling his romance with Miller.

‘In The City’ will pick up from where ‘Summer House’ left off and will continue to show the unraveling of Cooke and Batula’s marriage. Bravo also confirmed that cameras were picked back up for ‘In The City’ after the scandal took the internet by storm.

It is unclear who filmed the extra scenes, but word on the street is that we will see some of this footage in the premiere of ‘In the City.’

In her USA Today interview, Hubburd said she and Batula, who have had a rocky past together on ‘Summer House,’ got really close while filming together on ‘In The City.’ This only made the betrayal harder once the news of the scandal broke, she explained.

“I loved filming with Amanda, and I really had her back. And I was very much taking her side in a lot of matters with her and Kyle,” Hubbard told USA Today. “It sucks, and it’s disappointing, and I am questioning a lot of, like, I’m defending you, and I’m being your mouthpiece, was there something else going on?”
