A new Chipotle Mexican Grill restaurant will open May 20 at 2130 Chili Ave. in Gates, near the Walmart Supercenter, according to a company representative.
The restaurant will be Chipotle’s first location in Gates and the chain’s 14th in the Rochester area.
Drive-thru pickup available
The new restaurant will include a “Chipotlane,” a drive-thru pickup lane for customers placing online orders.
Hours will be 10:45 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily.
New menu items at Chipotle
Known for its build-your-own burritos, bowls, tacos and salads, Chipotle recently introduced a high-protein menu featuring dishes with 15 to 81 grams of protein.
The menu includes a 4-ounce High Protein Cup with adobo chicken or steak containing about 32 grams of protein.
In late April, the chain also brought back its popular Chipotle Honey Chicken, which first debuted in 2025 and became the company’s most successful limited-time menu item by order volume.
