All-you-can-eat hot pot and Korean barbecue restaurant opens in Greece

A new all-you-can eat hot pot and Korean barbecue restaurant has opened in The Mall at Greece Ridge.

Hot Pot 585 is a 5,260-square-foot restaurant in the former TGI Friday’s space in the food court.

Customers choose from a hot pot or Korean barbecue experience. They select their proteins, vegetables and sauces from a buffet line and cook them at their tables. Hot pots are simmered in a choice of boiling broths, whereas Korean barbecue is cooked on a grill.

Weekday lunches are priced at $21.99 per person; weekend lunches and dinners are $31.99. Both options may be ordered for an additional $5. The price for children is $15.99 for ages 8 to 13; $8.99 for ages 4 to 7; and free for kids under 3.

The restaurant is locally owned and operated by the team behind King Crab, also in Greece Ridge.

Hot Pot 585 features a full-service bar and is open daily for lunch and dinner. Hours are noon to 10:30 p.m. Monday through Friday and noon to 11 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. The restaurant may be accessed from within the mall and from the outside via entrance 8, near the carousel. Find more information at hotpot585.com or call (585) 978-8958.

Hot Pot 585 joins several new additions at the mall. Recent openings include Tropical Smoothie Café, Goodwill of the Finger Lakes, Charlotte Russe and Apple Cinemas. In March, the mall announced the upcoming arrival of Boscov’s, a 175,000-square-foot department store scheduled to open in fall 2025.
