2026 NFL Draft: CBS Sports mock involves Bills in Round 1 trade

The Buffalo Bills are on the move in a recent 2026 NFL Draft mock from CBS Sports.

The outlet’s projection has Buffalo general manager Brandon Beane deciding to move out of the first round altogether. Entering the event with the No. 26 overall selection in Round 1, Beane trades back in a deal with the Las Vegas Raiders.

Interestingly, the Raiders make this deal to select Indiana wide receiver Omar Cooper Jr., who the Bills have been connected to themselves prior to the draft. However, in the mock Beane decides to add more picks later on.

The exact compensation package for the deal is not provided by CBS Sports. One could expect the Bills to land at least two Day 2 picks from Las Vegas in suck a trade. That would make this deal make sense for the Bills as well, since the only Day 2 selection Buffalo enters the draft with is the No. 91 overall pick in the third round.

CBS Sports’ breakdown of the trade can be found below:

Surprise! The Raiders are back! The Bills only have two top 100 picks, so they drop into the early second round, while the Raiders pair Fernando Mendoza with his Indiana teammate.
