ALDI shoppers are in for some summer savings as the company announced they’re lowering the prices of over 400 products across all of their stores. The Germany-based discount grocery chain, which plans to open 225 more stores in the U.S. this year, said its price cuts – lasting through Labor Day — will likely save shoppers about $100 million — similar to the amount of money shoppers collectively saved with its reductions last year and more than the $60 million saved in 2023, USA TODAY reported.
“Value isn’t a trend at ALDI. It’s been in our DNA since we opened our first store nearly 50 years ago,” ALDI Chief Commercial Officer Scott Patton said in a June 5 news release. “This summer, we’re going further to deliver more of what sets us apart, great products at the lowest possible prices. With price drops on the season’s most-loved products in every aisle, we want to do what we can to help shoppers enjoy more of summer.”
Here’s what to know.
