The Orange County Interscholastic Athletic Association recently honored its top senior student-athletes for each high school. Valley Central High School selected Jillian Kendrick and Pablo Emilio Abdelsayed-Roblero.

Jillian Kendrick
Class rank: 18
Varsity sports: Cheerleading; gymnastics; diving; indoor and outdoor track and field
Athletic honors: Gymnastics – team captain; Section 9 team champ; indoor track – team captain; outdoor track – team captain; section champ in high jump
Academic honors, extracurricular activities: national social studies, English, French and math honor societies
Community service: Volunteer for Orange County Sports Club, animal shelter; gymnastics coach
Future plans: University of South Carolina, majoring in business, minoring in communications
Pablo Emilio Abdelsayed-Roblero
Class rank: 32
Varsity sports: Cross country; boys soccer; indoor and outdoor track and field
Athletic honors: Section 9 champ, state finalist
Academic honors, extracurricular activities: student government secretary; pep band; acapella choir; jazz band; New York State School Music Association; musical productions; music tuner for middle school band/choir
Community service: Hudson Valley Conservatory back stage crew
Future plans: Belmont University, majoring in commercial music
