Livingston County girls lacrosse followers should get used to some of the names on the all-county first team.
Some of them will be around for a while, as two freshmen and two sophomores made the 11-player top unit.
The talent on the all-county girls lacrosse team makes this one of the toughest first teams to make in Livingston County. All 11 players made first-, second or third-team all-state. Two even made All-America.
Elle Catignani
► School: Brighton
► Class: Senior
► Position: Defense
► Accomplishments: Catignani caused 27 turnovers, picked up 27 ground balls and had two interceptions. She made second-team all-state.
Quinn Holdridge
► School: Brighton
► Class: Freshman
► Position: Midfield
► Accomplishments: Holdridge used the speed that made her one of Brighton’s top track sprinters to score 40 goals and set up 30 on the lacrosse field. Many of those goals came quickly after she won a draw and charged down the field. She made second-team all-state.
Maddy Jenkins
► School: Hartland
► Class: Freshman
► Position: Midfield
► Accomplishments: Jenkins converted 67.8% of her shots, scoring 59 goals and setting up 10. She led the team with 73 draw controls, making second-team all-state.
AJ Johnson
► School: Hartland
► Class: Senior
► Position: Defense
► Accomplishments: Johnson didn’t get a chance to shoot much as a defender, but converted four of her five shots for goals. She caused 16 turnovers, collected 28 ground balls and had three interceptions, making third-team all-state.
Abby Kissel
► School: Brighton
► Class: Senior
► Position: Defense
► Accomplishments: Kissel made first-team all-state after being a second-team selection last year and receiving honorable mention as a sophomore. She led a Brighton defense that allowed double figures only four times in 20 games. She caused 12 turnovers and picked up 14 ground balls.

Kelly McKaig
► School: Brighton
► Class: Midfield
► Position: Junior
► Accomplishments: McKaig was an All-America and first-team all-state selection after scoring a team-leading 63 goals to go with 19 assists. She had 12 hat tricks in 20 games, including two five-goal performances against state runner-up South Lyon.
Amanda Norton
► School: Hartland
► Class: Senior
► Position: Midfield
► Accomplishments: Norton made third-team all-state after scoring a team-leading 60 goals to go with 10 assists. She was second on the team with 69 draw controls. Norton’s goal in the second overtime against Rockford put Hartland in the 2025 state championship game.
Isabella Orton
► School: Brighton
► Class: Senior
► Position: Attack
► Accomplishments: Orton made third-team all-state, scoring 16 goals and nine assists. She picked up 21 ground balls.
Brynne Sargeant
► School: Hartland
► Class: Sophomore
► Position: Defense
► Accomplishments: Sargeant caused a team-high 34 turnovers while picking up 24 ground balls and making six interceptions. She also scored five goals and five assists. Sargeant made second-team all-state.
Reese Tomyn
► School: Hartland
► Class: Sophomore
► Position: Attack
► Accomplishments: Tomyn was a second-team all-state selection after ranking third on the team with 52 goals. She had 16 assists, collected 26 ground balls and had 35 draw controls.
Claire Pielack
► School: Hartland
► Class: Senior
► Position: Goalie
► Accomplishments: Pielack is a two-time All-America selection and first-team all-stater. She made 182 saves, stopping 57.6% of the shots she faced. Pielack backstopped Hartland to the state championship game as a junior and the state semifinals her other three years.
