Looking to see fireworks near you for the Fourth of July? Check out some of the Lower Hudson Valley displays happening on or after July 4 in honor of the holiday.
Firework displays in the Lower Hudson Valley scheduled for July 4
Dobbs Ferry: At Waterfront Park, there will be games and music starting at 3 p.m. with the fireworks show to start shortly after 9 p.m. Note that parking at the waterfront is for Dobbs Ferry residents only.
Irvington: Fireworks will begin at dusk (about 9:15 p.m.) at Matthiessen Park, along the Hudson River. With the exception of strollers, no wheeled equipment (motorized and non-motorized) are allowed. Also prohibited: alcohol, inflatables of any kind, open fires, portable grills, smoking and/or vaping, and tents. Dogs must be leashed but it is strongly recommended they be left at home. In the event of rain, fireworks will be held July 5.
Katonah: The Westchester Symphonic Winds, joined by soprano Carami Hilaire, will perform at the Caramoor Center for Music and the Arts, 149 Girdle Ridge Road, starting 8 p.m. The evening will conclude with a fireworks display. In the event of rain, the concert will still be held July 4 but the fireworks display will take place 9 p.m. July 5.
Mamaroneck: As part of the 10-day Firemans Carnival held at Harbor Island Park, fireworks will be held at dusk (about 9:15 p.m.) July 4 with a rain date of July 5.
New Rochelle: Spark the Sound: July 4th Fireworks will be held starting 9:30 p.m. at Davenport Park on Davenport Avenue.
Nyack: Independence Day fireworks will be held at Memorial Park, 51 Piermont Ave. Festivities begin 6 p.m. with the fireworks show starting at dusk. Lawn chairs and blankets are encouraged, and there will be food vendors and music.
Pearl River: The annual Pearl River Fourth of July celebration will be held at the Central Avenue field. Bring lawn chairs and blankets.
Peekskill: As part of the city’s 2025 Summer Concert Series, the July 4 concert, “Ladies of the ’80s,” will be followed by fireworks. All concerts are free, run between 7 and 9 p.m., and are at the Peekskill riverfront.
Piermont: Trata on the River, 701 Piermont Ave., is partnering with Piermont for their first Independence Day fireworks show, starting at 9:30 p.m. Call 845-398-2000 to reserve seating.
Playland: Playland Park, at 1 Playland Pkwy in Rye, is hosting weekly fire displays this summer, starting with a patriotic show at 9 p.m. on July 4. Fireworks are set to continue every Friday night through Aug. 29.
Pomona: The New York Boulders baseball team will have postgame fireworks as part of their Independence Day celebration. Fireworks can also be seen after their July 5 game.
Port Chester: The village’s celebration of the Fourth of July will begin with a skydive exhibition beginning at 8 p.m. at Port Chester High School, 1 Tamarack Road, Rye Brook. The fireworks will start at 9 p.m. Gates open at 7 p.m.
Rye: Barley Beach House, 95 Dearborn Ave., will starting 6 p.m. have a July 4th Beach Party. Bring a blanket or chair. Food and entertainment will be part of the evening, including Hawaiian dance and fire shows. Fireworks will start between 9 and 9:15 p.m.
Tarrytown: The traditional Sleepy Hollow and Tarrytown fireworks display will occur at dusk. The Sleepy Hollow RiverWalk is open for viewing and offers a great vantage point, as does Pierson Park, West Main Street, in Tarrytown. The village notes there may be intermittent road closures of lower Beekman Avenue and River Street during the display, so plan your travel accordingly

Brewster: A Southeast Fireworks Extravaganza is scheduled starting 6 p.m. July 6, Independent Way.
Kent: An Independence Day Fireworks Celebration will be held starting at dusk (about 8 p.m.) July 5, over Lake Carmel. Rain date is July 6.
Firework displays in New York City
Starting 8 p.m. July 4 Macy’s will have their annual fireworks show, now in its 49th year. The show is free to attend, but viewing locations, entry points, and security details are still forthcoming.
For those who would rather view the display at home, the fireworks will be shown on NBC as well as Peacock.
