3 Jets takeaways from Seahawks' Super Bowl 60 win vs. Patriots

The New York Jets were not involved in Super Bowl 60 as the Seattle Seahawks took the win over the New England Patriots.

While the Jets were onlookers, that doesn’t mean they couldn’t relate to it. The Big Game showed several things that New York could learn from it.

With that, here are three things the Jets can learn from Super Bowl 60.

Time can help

Seahawks quarterback Sam Darnold needs no introduction. The former Jets first-round pick had a long and winding career to get to his Super Bowl victory. Jets fans understandably might not be thrilled hearing it, but patience can be a virtue.

But so can change

And now on the flip side, the Patriots lost the Big Game, but showed something else. New York head coach Aaron Glenn will remain in 2026 but he’s on the hot seat.

New England made it all the way to the Super Bowl with Mike Vrabel in his first year as head coach. A change at the helm sometimes can pay dividends.

Ground game and playmakers

Kenneth Walker III was named Super Bowl MVP after posting 131 rushing yards and 26 receiving yards.

Overall it was not the most exciting Super Bowl ever, but at receiver the Seahawks pair Walker with the likes of Cooper Kupp, Rashid Shaheed and Jaxson Smith-Njigba.

Translation: More playmakers help and if the Jets lose running back Breece Hall in free agency? It’s just receiver Garrett Wilson left. That has to change in New York.
