The Buffalo Bills were not involved in Super Bowl 60 as the Seattle Seahawks took the win over the New England Patriots.
While the Bills were onlookers, that doesn’t mean they couldn’t relate to it. The Big Game showed several things that Buffalo could learn from it.
With that, here are three things the Bills can learn from Super Bowl 60.
Playmaker depth might help more than a star
Kenneth Walker III was named Super Bowl MVP after posting 131 rushing yards and 26 receiving yards.
Overall it was not the most exciting Super Bowl ever, but at receiver the Seahawks pair Walker with the likes of Cooper Kupp, Rashid Shaheed and Jaxson Smith-Njigba.
Translation: More playmakers help. The Bills might not land a star wideout this offseason, but that’s OK, because multiple solid players could help more.
An easier schedule could help
The Patriots did not win the Super Bowl.
But they made it there. New England made it all the way to the Super Bowl with Mike Vrabel in his first year as head coach. A change at the helm sometimes can pay dividends.
An easier schedule could too
Not winning the AFC East was a bummer for the Bills last season.
However, a big knock against the Patriots even heading into the Super Bowl was New England making it that far because of a weak schedule.
Because the Bills finished in second place in the division last year, they’ll technically have an easier schedule in 2026 (on paper, at least).
That could help.
