Caitlin Clark and her the Indiana Fever (6-5) are set for Game 12 of their 2025 WNBA season schedule with a road matchup against former Hawkeyes teammate Kate Martin and the Golden State Valkyries on Thursday, June 19.
Clark, a former Iowa women’s basketball star, entered her sophomore campaign as the betting favorite to win MVP but missed five games because of a quad strain. This matchup will be the first between Clark and Martin this season.
Clark returned on Saturday, June 14, and has led the Fever to back-to-back wins, the most recent of which drew attention for some intense physical moments and criticism of the referees.

Clark missed five games because of a left quad strain, which the team announced on May 26, two days after the team’s loss to the New York Liberty.
Clark previously missed Indiana’s first preseason game because of an injury to the same left quad, but White said that this injury is a new one and not related.
Her first game back was against the Liberty on Saturday, June 14.
