Following two more easy wins, Iowa women’s basketball has moved up three spots to No. 20 in the latest USA TODAY Coaches poll released Nov. 18.
Jan Jensen’s Hawkeyes (4-0) followed up their first two victories with a pair of in-state blowouts last week, securing a 100-58 win over Drake on Nov. 13 and a 74-41 win over UNI on Nov. 16.
However, Iowa’s competition is about to intensify. The Hawkeyes head to Orlando for a pair of matchups in the WBCA Showcase. Games against Baylor (Nov. 20) and Miami (Nov. 22) are scheduled there.
Iowa is No. 19 in the latest Associated Press poll.
