New on-field advertising added to Kinnick Stadium for 2026 season

IOWA CITY — Progressive Insurance has announced an expanded investment with the University of Iowa Athletics Department for the 2026 college football season.

The collaboration brings Progressive to the game-day experience with on-field branding inside Kinnick Stadium. The verbiage will be present on the white sideline apron between the 20-yard line and end zone on all four corners of Duke Slater Field.

“We’re excited to welcome Progressive Insurance to an even greater presence within the Hawkeye game day experience,” said Matt Henderson, deputy director of athletics. “Their expanded investment reflects the value and national visibility of Iowa Athletics, while creating new opportunities to engage our fans in meaningful ways throughout the football season. Partnerships like this help us continue delivering a first-class atmosphere at Kinnick Stadium and strengthen the connection between leading brands and our passionate fan base.”

Last season, Iowa added the John Deere logo to Duke Slater Field at Kinnick Stadium. The Hawkeyes have now continued down the road with Progressive Insurance.

The expanded sponsorship adds on-field branding to fields at 13 universities across the country. As a sponsor, Progressive’s national presence will be complemented by in-game videoboard features, in-venue LED signage, digital and social media integrations and other game day experiences.

“We are thrilled to welcome Progressive to Kinnick Stadium and look forward to the start of a great partnership. Saturdays in Kinnick are special and I’m happy they are going to be a part of it,” said Gabe Aguirre, Vice President and General Manager of Hawkeye Sports Properties.
