Sid Wilson, co-founder of hometown band Slipknot, added another line to his resume this week: Iowa State Fair concessionaire.
Wilson stopped by Winn and Sara’s Kitchen to help sling egg rolls, according to a Facebook post by the vendor.
He ” jumped right in drizzling egg rolls, sending out orders and making memories with us!” the post reads. “Sid you are always showing up with heart, always real, always supportive and always family.”
“From our family to yours, grateful every time.”
Wilson, who lives on a farm near Indianola, is known for visiting Winn’s Pizza and Steakhouse, the family’s brick-and-mortar storefront.
And Wilson wasn’t the only celeb to stop by Winn and Sara’s. Former Hawkeye legend Dallas Clark also popped in, as he does every year, according to a Facebook post.
