The Savannah Bananas are coming back to Iowa for the July Fourth holiday, and the party begins long before the games begin.
The Bananas will play two games in Iowa City at Kinnick Stadium, home of the Iowa Hawkeyes football team. The games will be played July 3-4 and will feature the Bananas taking on The Firefighters, a fellow Banana Ball Championship League team.
Tickets for the games are sold out, but some are available on resale markets like Stubhub. Tickets for Friday’s game range from $82 to $6,599 on Stubhub. Saturday’s game has tickets for $60 to $4,200.

Here is the Banana Ball gameday schedule for July 3–4 at Kinnick Stadium:
The pregame plaza for ticketed fans is on the Evashevski Drive side of Kinnick Stadium and features “energetic broadcasters and lively cast members” who “set the tone for an unforgettable day of Banana Ball,” according to the event information page.
The centerpiece of the pregame plaza is “Before the Peel,” a high‑energy show that begins about 90 minutes before gates open and features appearances from players, mascots and surprise guests.
Banana Ball merchandise will be on sale both in the plaza and inside the stadium, and all merchandise tents will accept only cards or digital payments. All Kinnick concession stands are also cashless.

Savannah Bananas autograph sessions for Iowa City games
Savannah Bananas and Firefighters players will hold an autograph session in partnership with EvoShield at Iowa City Scheels in Coralville.
Banana Ball cast members will appear at the Dunkin’ Donuts location at 604 Second St. in Coralville on July 4 from 9 to 11 a.m., “serving up coffee, donuts and dance moves.”

The July 3 game will stream on the Savannah Bananas’ YouTube channel and will also air on truTV at 7 p.m. CT.
