IOWA CITY — More details about Iowa football’s 2026 schedule have been revealed with the announcement of several kickoff times and TV information on May 27.
Here is what we learned:
The Hawkeyes begin the season with three non-conference home games in a row, including the Cy-Hawk rivalry. Iowa will look to beat Iowa State for the first time since 2023. This year, it will be a night game at Kinnick Stadium.
Here is the TV information for the first three games on Iowa’s 2026 schedule:
The Northern Illinois game is designated as a “Gold Out” at Kinnick Stadium. The matchup with UNI is a part of “Family Weekend.”
Iowa’s matchup with Nebraska at Kinnick Stadium on Black Friday has been scheduled for an 11:00 am CT kickoff. The game will be broadcast on CBS.
Iowa’s West Coast game at Washington on Friday, Oct. 9, was previously announced for an 8 p.m. (CT) kickoff and will be televised on FOX or FS1.
The exact kickoff time for Iowa’s game at Minnesota on Oct. 24 is still to be determined, but will start between 2 and 7 p.m. Iowa’s Homecoming game against Wisconsin on Halloween will start no later than 4 p.m.
The Hawkeyes are coming off a 9-4 season, which ended with a win over ranked Vanderbilt in the ReliaQuest Bowl.
