Caitlin Clark and her Indiana Fever are set to play the Los Angeles Sparks on Saturday, July 5. Clark is dealing with a groin injury and has not played in the team’s last four games.
Clark missed two games last week, a loss to Los Angeles and a win over Dallas, due to the injury. Fever coach Stephanie White said Sunday that Clark was considered “day to day” and was upgraded to questionable ahead of Tuesday’s win over the Minnesota Lynx, though she did not play in the contest. She did not play in Thursday’s win over the Las Vegas Aces either.
Clark, a former Iowa women’s basketball star, entered her sophomore campaign as the betting favorite to win MVP in the league.

Clark earlier missed five games because of a left quad strain.
Clark previously missed Indiana’s first preseason game because of an injury to the same left quad, but White said that this injury is a new one and not related.
