Iowa women's basketball welcomes 2028 recruit on unofficial visit

As No. 14 Iowa women’s basketball (11-2, 3-0 Big Ten) moves into the heart of its Big Ten regular season slate, the Hawkeyes hosted talented 2028 shooting guard Kinsley Ketterhagen on an unofficial visit over the weekend.

The 6-foot-1 native of Oostburg, Wisconsin, attends Oostburg School District and plays club basketball for All Iowa Attack. The skilled prospect is the No. 2 recruit and shooting guard in the state, according to Prep Girl Hoops’ 2028 recruiting rankings.

Iowa offered Ketterhagen on June 27 in 2025, joining Michigan State, Wisconsin–Green Bay and Wisconsin as programs competing for the talented Wisconsin native.

While there is plenty of time remaining in her recruitment process, Iowa hopes Ketterhagen’s visit, the program’s recent success and its promising future puts it in position to secure her eventual commitment.
