Joshua Jefferson made history for Iowa State basketball on Tuesday night.
In the Cyclones’ massive 87-57 win over UCF, the senior became the first player in Cyclone men’s basketball history to record two triple-doubles in his ISU career. His first came just a few weeks earlier, on Jan. 2 in a win over West Virginia.
Tuesday’s feat was more impressive, as Jefferson posted 17 points, 12 assists, 10 rebounds against the Knights. Jefferson is the ninth Cyclone to achieve a triple-double and the first to do it more than once.
