The Iowa high school volleyball state tournament is underway.
In total, 40 teams have punched a ticket to Coralville across the state’s five classes. As of Monday, when the tournament kicked off, eight teams are still alive in each class in their ultimate quest for a state title.
The action will wrap up with five squads earning the crown on Thursday with the championship matches in Xtream Arena.
