The Iowa football program held its annual Hawkeye Tailgater event last Saturday, where several high-caliber 2028 prospects made their way to Iowa City. Some of them even left with official offers.
It wasn’t just 2028 prospects who visited for the weekend. A few 2029 players were on campus as well. And a couple of those guys also received offers from the Hawkeyes. Tight end Hank Doyle was one of them, as he announced the offer on social media.
Doyle is a tight end prospect from Grafton, Wis., and Grafton High School. The 6-foot-4 playmaker currently holds offers from Iowa, Wisconsin, Northwestern, and Miami (Ohio). His stock is rising fast, as all four of his offers have come over the past few weeks.
He joins defensive back Earnest Winters III as a 2029 prospect to get an Iowa offer last weekend. The Hawkeyes will battle for the Wisconsin native’s talents over the next few years.
