The former Hawkeye appeared to have tweaked her back after getting fouled in the second quarter. After remaining in the game for a bit, she eventually checked out with 5:15 left in the third and went to the locker room. Shortly after, the Fever announced Clark would not return for the remainder of the game.

Indiana was leading, 85-82, at the end of the third quarter, but eventually lost, 111-109.

At the time she exited the game, Clark had 19 points on 5-of-9 shooting and 3-for-4 from beyond the arc. Clark has missed time previously this season due to a back injury. In 2025, she only played 13 games because of a myriad of injuries, including to her left quad, left groin, right groin, and ankle.
