For more than 40 years, Casey’s has been a favorite for Iowans when it comes to pizza.
Known for selling many different types of pizza, the popular Midwest convenience store chain is now bringing back a well-loved option to its menu.
Casey’s is partnering with former Iowa Hawkeye and 2026 NFL Draft pick Gennings Dunker to offer Bacon Cheeseburger pizza once again.
“I’ve been eating Casey’s pizza for years, and it’s hands down my favorite pizza,” Dunker said in a news release. “The first time I had the Bacon Cheeseburger Pizza, I was in heaven. Now it’s back with crispy fries, and it’s like – yeah, that works. Casey’s is always bringing unexpected, delicious favorites – and this one is a winner for summer.”
What’s on Casey’s Bacon Cheeseburger Pizza?
The pizza, which was discontinued in 2022, is topped with cheese, beef, bacon, pickles, onions and Thousand Island sauce.
“At Casey’s, when guests ask for something back, we don’t just bring it back, we do it with an unexpected twist,” said Casey’s Senior Vice President of Prepared Food & Dispensed Beverage Brad Haga. “Summer is the perfect time to bring back the Bacon Cheeseburger Pizza and have a little fun with it.”
Casey’s has also added crispy fries as a new side item for customers to enjoy along with the returning Bacon Cheeseburger pizza.
When is Casey’s Bacon Cheesburger Pizza available?
The new items arrive on Casey’s menus starting April 29.
While the fries will become a permanent part of the Casey’s menu, the Bacon Cheeseburger pizza will only be available in stores through Sept. 8.
