The Big 12 Conference announced Aug 13 that starting with the 2025-26 season that the league will publicly provide availability reports for all Big 12 football, men’s basketball and women’s basketball contests.
Football teams will need to submit daily reports, starting three days before each game. Men’s and women’s basketball teams will update thier availability reports the night before each game. There will also be a final report released 90 minutes before kickoff or tip-off. This mandate was approved by all Big 12 schools.
In the reports, football players will be listed as either available, probable, questionable, doubtful or out. Basketball student-athletes will be listed as available, game-time decision, or out. All of the reports will be found online at Big12Sports.com.
