St. Joseph County officials have set up a series of annual meetings, all open to the public, where they will discuss the 2026 budget with individual departments.
The county council, commissioners and auditor will meet in person in the seventh-floor conference room of the County-City Building in downtown South Bend.
But each meeting will also be streamed live via Zoom. The Zoom meeting ID is 814 1846 7261, with a passcode of 196055. The dial-in number is 312-626-6799.
Here is the schedule:
∎ Monday, July 14: 5 p.m. with county treasurer, 5:15 p.m. with Weights and Measures, 5:30 p.m. with Emergency Management, 5:45 p.m. with IT, 6:15 p.m. with Superior Court, 6:30 p.m. with PSAP, 7:30 p.m. with health department and 8:30 p.m. with parks department.
∎ Wednesday, July 16: 5 p.m. with Recorder, 5:15 p.m. with Purdue Extension, 5:30 p.m. with Coroner, 6 p.m. with Circuit Court, 7:30 p.m. with Clerk, and 8 p.m. with Assessor and Penn Township Assessor.
∎ Monday, July 28: 5 p.m. with Sheriff, 6 p.m. with Procurement/Maintenance, 7 and 7:30 p.m. with Prosecutor.
∎ Tuesday, July 29: 5 p.m. with Soil & Water, 5:15 p.m. with Archives, 5:30 p.m. with Human Resources, 6 p.m. with Infrastructure, Planning and Growth, 7:30 p.m. with Juvenile Justice Center/CASA, and 8 p.m. with DuComb Center.
