A South Bend Tribune virtual panel Wednesday, Aug. 26, will follow-up a recent series on the history and legacy of Black South Bend high school athletes.
The conversation will begin at 6 p.m. ET on the Tribune’s Facebook page and will feature a group of former standout Black South Bend high school athletes and community leaders, discussing the impact diversity in high school athletics has on communities outside of sports. Among other topics, also discussed will be the evolution of how Black high school athletes and the Black community in South Bend has been represented and viewed over time.
