Notre Dame once again has filled its recruiting class fairly early, as the 2027 class already has 22 commitments, with room for just a few select prospects.
One of those targets is Illinois defensive tackle Brayden Parks, who on Sunday afternoon announced via On3’s Hayes Fawcett that he will be making his commitment this coming Thursday between the Irish and Oregon. The 6-foot, 3-inch and 305-pound has seen some positive news for each side of his recruitment, as both tams have a legit shot at landing his verbal.
Parks is ranked as the No. 199 overall prospect in the 247Sports Composite, made official visits to see both of his finalists. If he is to commit, this would be a banner class for Notre Dame with 5-stars David Folorunsho and Abraham Sesay, 4-stars Aidan O’Neil and Jackson Vaughn, and 3-stars Richie Flanigan and Segun Alexander.
Adding Parks to that group would make it one of the best nationally, and hopefully that happens on Thursday.
