Notre Dame has done a fantastic job recruiting the state of Florida in the 2027 class, but it missed out on a top 2028 prospect on Sunday.
Armani Strong, a 6-foot, 1-inch and 180-pound pass catcher picked the Florida Gators as the weekend ended, while he was also considering the Irish, Miami, USC, and Michigan. Notre Dame made its offer to the No. 226 overall prospect in the 247Sports Composite in late January, but the length of the relationship didn’t matter in this case.
This won’t stop the Irish from going after prospects in the Sunshine State, considering the wealth of talent that they produce. Notre Dame will surely land more players from the state, and Florida Dame will continue rolling.
