Jonathan Taylor MVP odds, Daniel Jones MVP odds: Indianapolis Colts in NFL MVP race

If a team has two NFL Most Valuable Player contenders, does it really have any?

The Indianapolis Colts (7-1) own the league’s best record, and quarterback Daniel Jones and running back Jonathan Taylor keep filling up the stat sheet.

The Lucas Oil Stadium crowd serenaded Taylor with “M-V-P” chants on Oct. 26 during the Colts’ 38-14 win over the Tennessee Titans.

That call didn’t reach the sportsbooks, who remain enamored with Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes, Buffalo Bills QB Josh Allen and New England QB Drake Maye.

Jones is closer to a favorite than Taylor, but neither is all that close.

Jones is 6th at +1500: “Jones has been the biggest surprise of any quarterback this season. He’s led the Colts to a league-leading seven wins through eight weeks, and his Week 8 outing was his best of the season. Jones threw for 272 yards and three touchdowns on 21-of-29 passing against the Titans in a divisional matchup.”

Taylor is tied for 9th with Justin Herbert at +3000: “Taylor scored three touchdowns in a game for the fourth time this season in Week 8. He’s on pace to win the rushing triple crown as he leads the NFL with 850 rushing yards, an average of 5.9 yards per carry and 12 rushing touchdowns.”
