Line of storms to follow warm Indianapolis day. See the weather forecast

Carry an umbrella. It’s bound to be warm and wet ahead of possible severed storms.

Showers are likely on Monday, April 27, and thunderstorms are expected this evening in Central Indiana, according to the National Weather Service Indianapolis forecast.

The high for the day will be near 78 degrees and the low will be around 61.

As the day progresses, the NWS Indianapolis forecasts predicts severe thunderstorms are possible going into the night. Damaging straight-line winds are the main concern, with isolated tornadoes and flooding also possible, according to a hazardous weather outlook posted online.
