Memorial Day weekend in Bloomington has movies, music for all ages

An extended Memorial Day weekend will get some extra celebration with the school year ending for many area students. It’s a time for picnics, the opening of swimming pools — Bryan Park Pool (11 a.m.-7 p.m.) and the Indiana University outdoor pool (noon to 6 p.m.), weather permitting.

It’s also a time for movies outside, at the drive-in and the park. Here are some suggestions for what to do this weekend.
