EATON, IN — The Indiana Department of Transportation will host a public hearing on Wednesday, May 6, on improvements planned for the intersection of Indiana 3 and Eaton-Wheeling Pike.
The meeting will be at Eaton Elementary School, 200 S. Union St. Doors will open at 5:30 p.m., with a presentation scheduled for 6 p.m.
The INDOT proposal calls for a roundabout to be installed at the intersection, with construction beginning in the spring of 2028.
According to an INDOT release, the purpose of the project is to “reduce crash potential” after an above-average number of injury crashes at the intersection.
