As the trial of Richard Allen continues in the slayings of Liberty “Libby” German and Abigail “Abby” Williams, several key locations have been referenced many times.
If you aren’t from the area or haven’t followed the case closely, you may not be familiar with these spots and where they sit relative to other important points in the trial. We’ve created a map to show you where on the Monon High Bridge the girls encountered “Bridge Guy,” and how the spot sits in relation to the old CPS building, the former Hoosier Harvestore and others along with a photo from the location.

On Monday, Feb. 13, Abby and Libby were off school, and Abby had stayed the night at the Germans’ house. Libby’s sister dropped the girls off on the Monon High Bridge trail after breakfast.
Libby called her father at 1:38 to ask him to pick them up. While he was on his way, the two headed to the high bridge, according to one witness who testified that she saw them that day. Libby’s phone recorded video on the bridge starting at 2:13 p.m., according to an analysis, and at 2:32 p.m., Libby’s phone’s health app recorded movement for the last time.
Libby’s father arrived a little after 3 p.m., he testified, but couldn’t find the girls. Family and the community searched into the night and began again early on Feb. 14. Search party members found their bodies later that morning.
