Indiana softball opens the postseason on Friday night under the lights at Sherri Parker Lee Stadium in Knoxville at 8 p.m. ET with a game against No. 7 Virginia. The winner will advance to face either Tennessee or Western Kentucky on Saturday in the double-elimination regional.
The Hoosiers (42-14) are in the regionals for a fourth straight season on the heels of reaching the Big Ten tournament semifinals. The winner of the Knoxville regional will play the winner of the Athens Regional.

Indiana softball’s game against Virginia was bumped up to ESPN at 8 p.m. ET with Matt Schumacker and Amanda Scarborough on the call. Virginia (38-13) is in the NCAA Tournament for a third straight year.
