'Silver Alert' issued for missing 9-year-old in Lafayette

LAFAYETTE, IN — A statewide Silver Alert has been declared for 9-year-old Ricky Reveles of Lafayette, who was last seen Friday morning.

Reveles, a fourth-grader at Amelia Earhart Elementary, was last seen wearing a tan zip-up sweater, black pants with green shorts, white tennis shoes and an orange “Naruto” backpack, Lafayette police said Friday afternoon.

Reveles is described as 3 foot 10 inches tall and about 55 pounds with black dreadlocks and brown eyes.

Indiana State Police said in the Silver Alert declaration that Reveles is believed to be in extreme danger and may require medical assistance.

The public is asked to call the Lafayette Police Department at 765-807-1216 or 911 with any information of his whereabouts.
