The three-star recruit is ranked No. 724 nationally and the No. 44 running back in the 2026 signing class, per 247 Sports’ composite rankings. He had 31 scholarship offers including ones from Alabama, Georgia, Michigan, Tennessee and Texas A&M.

As a junior, Campbell rushed for 930 yards (5.5 yards per carry) and 18 touchdowns.

The 5-foot-10, 190-pound back is IU’s first commitment at the position in this recruiting cycle. The Hoosiers have six scholarship running backs on the roster going into 2025 and three of them (Roman Hemby, Kaelon Black and Solomon VanHorse) are in their final year of eligibility.

Indiana football has added eight commitments in June with seven of those coming over the last nine days. The Hoosiers are up to 17 commitments for a 2026 recruiting class that ranks No. 28 nationally, per 247 Sports.
