Indiana basketball will face Arkansas at Madison Square Garden in 2026-27

BLOOMINGTON — Indiana basketball is headed back to the Big Apple.

The Hoosiers have finalized a game against Arkansas on Nov. 17, 2026, at Madison Square Garden as part of the Bad Boy Mowers Series, a non-conference showcase that debuted last year featuring men’s and women’s teams from across the country.

In 2023-24, Indiana split a pair of games at MSG, losing to UConn and beating Louisville in the Empire Classic, to give them a 15-13 record at the famed venue.

The matchup against the Razorbacks gives IU a third high-profile neutral site game for the 2026-27 season with the program also set to play at Gainbridge Fieldhouse against Syracuse and Lucas Oil Stadium against Kentucky. The matchup against the Wildcats comes just days after the Hoosiers trip to New York, giving IU games against coach John Calipari’s current and former teams in the same week.

Under Calipari, Arkansas has reached the Sweet Sixteen in back-to-back seasons.
