Kai McGrew committed to Ball State on Friday.
The 6-8 McGrew, who averaged 15.4 points, 6.8 rebounds, 2.0 assists, 1.0 steals and 1.0 blocked shots as a senior at Fishers to earn Indiana All-Star honors, committed to new coach Chris Capko, previously an assistant at SMU.

McGrew is one of the top big men in the state in the senior class. He averaged 14.5 points, 8.2 rebounds and 1.3 assists as a junior at Lawrence North before transferring to Fishers as a senior and helping the Tigers to a 24-1 season.
Since January, McGrew had picked up offers from Central Michigan, Georgia Southern, Georgia State, Mississippi State, Montana and Sacramento State. He was offered by Capko at Ball State earlier this month.
