Hawkins isn't real, but the Wheelers' house from 'Stranger Things' is on the market

Fans of “Stranger Things” might be disappointed to learn that Hawkins isn’t a real place in Indiana. But pieces of the fictional town do exist in another state.

The Byers family home, for example, is now a listing on Airbnb. And now another prominent filming location has hit the real estate market.

Here’s what we know about the recent listing.

Wheeler family house from ‘Stranger Things’ hits the market. Where is it?

Nancy and Mike Wheeler’s house is actually a 5-bedroom, 3-bathroom home in Georgia.

The house was first built in 1963 and stands at 2,466 square feet on about 2 acres of land, according to Atlanta Fine Homes Sotheby’s International Realty. There is a covered car port, and the interior boasts a super vintage look all over plus two fireplaces, one on each floor.

The house is located in Atlanta at 2530 Piney Wood Ln. It’s located in the area of East Point, about 6 miles from the Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport.

How much does the Wheeler house from ‘Stranger Things’ cost?

The house is listed for $350,000 with property taxes of $4,111 per year. As of September 25, Sotheby’s listing shows “Contract Pending” and Zillow’s says “Active Under Contract.” This means those interested may still be able to put in a higher bid if they really want this house.
